the peoples republic of america.kinda has a ring to it.better get use to it,because thats exactly were this country is headed.government bailouts of financial institutions, banks, auto manufacture's, private mortgages.where dose it end.i'm pretty sure the founders didn't have these types of actions in mind when they had their vision of a great sovereign nation.since september 11 2001 there has been numerous violations of our civil liberties the worst being the patriot act,the name being extremely ironic, since there is nothing patriotic about it.(it also seems to me that people who use the word patriotic or call them selves patriotic are the opposite.)we could dive into how many violations of our rights there are but it would take years.this document was passed so fast, because the government sensed panic among the people.it also saw the opportunity to take advantage of the peoples fear and anxiety over terrorism.george bush's abuse of phone taping laws are another example of taking advantage of the peoples fear.and mean while people are lining up to give away freedoms that where hard fought for in the revolution and more recently ww 11.the government has the perfect excuse now to trample all over our rights.and thats by the use of one word terrorism.if we allow our government to take advantage of this situation where will it stop.if where not willing to step on a subway without being searched, then what price is freedom worth.if not your life then what?Benjamin FRANKLIN once said those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety".that statement was coming from a nation that was fighting a world power, not cowards hiding in caves.these men women and children died for freedom, yet we are unwilling to go about our normal business with out government interference.some how our civil liberties have become less important over the years.i feel the reason for the lapse is so many distractions tv, internet, cell phones, sports, movies, and people just wrapped up in there own lives things are just more complicated these days.up until the beginning of the 20th century people didn't have all those distractions they mainly concentrated on their work, farming,or profession.they could pay more attention to what the government was doing.we has a people need to get back to that before its to late.we can do this by petitioning their reps, protesting, and most powerful of all, voting.not just voting for the same old two parties but by going out side the two parties.thats how you inflict real change, just let them know we aren't going to let them take our rights or our government away from us.IN, THOMAS PAINE'S,COMMON SENSE he writes how our government should be structured,as municipalities grow they should be represented by their peers.it dosen't appear our peers know what we want.they seem to vote on issues that suit their own views or the views of the people who are lobbying them this kind of representation we dont need.
TO ANNOUNCE THAT THERE MUST BE NO CRITICISM OF THE PRESIDENT,OR THAT WE ARE TO STAND BY THE PRESIDENT,RIGHT OR WRONG ,IS NOT ONLY UNPATRIOTIC AND SERVILE BUT IS MORALLY TREASONABLE TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.
"THEODORE ROOSEVELT"
CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENT
"corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow." that was said by ABRAHAM LINCOLN IN 1864 if he were to come back to life today he would die from shock.these days corporations are so entwined in the government you cant tell the difference between the two.the pharmaceutical companies insurance, tobacco industries own our government it does as they want by throwing large sums of money at our representatives this is legal it is called lobbying.of course this should be outlawed.lobbying tramples all over our individual liberties.what chance do we have when corporations can throw huge sums of money at our government to have things go their way.where is our voice? why should the people we choose to represent us be allowed to be influenced by big money.does any politician have the balls to stand up and end this intrusion on our rights?no!because they have become to greedy and comfortable with this situation.besides when they are voted out they themselves wind up being lobbyist so there is no real insentive for anyone to end it.a recent example of this abuse is aig's ability to give bonus's using taxpayer money, the politicians involved in the language of the payouts conveniently left out the fact that the money shouldn't be used for bonus's. why? because aig employees made campaign contributions to their campaigns.thats a bought politician.
the time is now to stop all this abuse of our constitution and our freedom .we have to get back to our ideals and to the way our founders wanted our country to be.lets not let our country to get away from us.its now or never people

aig bail out
so aig decides to go ahead with a 400,000 convention even though they bankrupted their company.are you fucking kidding?the dumb ass excuse is it was planned be for they lost their shirts.it says a lot about the the way the company is run.now we know why what happened, happened.shear stupidity, greed,no sense of right and wrong,no accountability no reality.these people should be going to jail.the bail out money should be revoked and they should be allowed to shut down.if we use tax money to bail out these big corporations they will continue to take undue risks knowing the government will bail them out.where does this government get off using our hard earned money when in fact most of the country was against the bail out.what makes them think they know whats best for us.lets face it these congress men and women are just protecting their own interest and the interest of their wealthy friends.thats what their protecting. its a conflict of interest.just another kick in the groin for the rest of us.

bail out
so the poor and middle class have to bail out the rich, its bad enough we have to carry them on our backs working low paying jobs but now when they fuck up we have to pay for it.why arent these ceo's being held responsible why isn't their so called golden parachutes being taken away and put towards the bail out.wheres the accountability.and lets face it people playing the stock market is gambling you might as well go to the race track and throw your money on the three horse. greed drives the markets and greed brings it down you will never win when greed is involved.i say let it all fall round up these sons of bitches and put them in jail.no more government in our lives.enough already

sarah palin
i'm shocked to say this but i think sarah palin did a great job in the debate the other night.not because she knew the issues ha ha ha,or she seemed really intelligent but she might be green enough to make real change.like she said she's a washington outsider she has no idea how the suits go about their business.she might be ignorant enough to change the way goverment operates.i feel a person with no expierance and alot of drive will try harder to make an impact.now if she can just change her stance on everything.we would have a real canidate.heres a crazy thought how bout a sarah hillary independent ticket now thats change.

sarah palin
oh boy what a curve ball mcain threw the democrats.a woman running for veep.i suspect that had hillary, won the nomination for president, mcain would have picked a black man or woman as his running mate.it's a bold slick move.a gun toting momma, who can field dress a moose, have five kids, cook dinner, run a state, and still look good doing it.she's a woman w-o-m-a-n i'll say it again.ha ha ha.and everyone thought obama didn't know squat about foreign policy.this broad is clueless.it's scary to think she'll be a heart beat away from the presidency.w hat happened to the republicans making us feel safe from terrorist.i don't feel to safe with a old fart for president and a veep who dosen't know her own president's doctrine.which states by the way that america reserves the right to attack any country we deem a threat to us whether or not they have attacked us.hmmm, it's going to be an interesting election.

joe biden ?
so this is the best the democrats can do another losing ticket.in a time when the democrats should be able to throw a dog on the ticket and win.they managed to put up a real loser.maybe they really dont want to win the white house this way every time something goes wrong they can blame the republicans.thats a great strategy.
