so here's the dilemma how do we get health care to hard working American's, especially children, without trampling on our rights. now many of these people who don't have insurance, work and pay taxes, their taxes pay for other peoples benefits , like people on welfare and all those fat cats in congress, so there is an irony here. don't they also deserve benefits.i think this is more of an issue humanity than rights. i really wonder what the founders would think of this issue but since we can't dig them up and ask, its something we're going to have to figure out our selves. now its easy for people who have insurance to debate this issue and it seems like a conflict of interest that our congress will vote on this issue since they are owned by insurance companies thanks to good old lobbing. there is no incentive for a person who has benefits and receives "gifts" to vote in favor of health care. in a capitalistic system there is no sharing the wealth you either have it or you don't. another problem is that health insurance is a profit making industry also a conflict of interest.
i don't understand why this issue brings the worst out in people. the government is constantly stomping on our rights especially after September 11th. no one got this raving mad when the patriot act was passed. or when they started to randomly started checking peoples bags at the subway. how about when BUSH allowed the taping of phones. where was the passion then. you might think this was the government was protecting you but that would make you ignorant and you don't deserve to be free. no this isn't an issue of the government being in our lives this is an issue of compassion, of watching out for our fellow citizens, its a matter of humanity.

the slow ,steady, and eventual socialization of america
the peoples republic of america.kinda has a ring to it.better get use to it,because thats exactly were this country is headed.government bailouts of financial institutions, banks, auto manufacture's, private mortgages.where dose it end.i'm pretty sure the founders didn't have these types of actions in mind when they had their vision of a great sovereign nation.since september 11 2001 there has been numerous violations of our civil liberties the worst being the patriot act,the name being extremely ironic, since there is nothing patriotic about it.(it also seems to me that people who use the word patriotic or call them selves patriotic are the opposite.)we could dive into how many violations of our rights there are but it would take years.this document was passed so fast, because the government sensed panic among the people.it also saw the opportunity to take advantage of the peoples fear and anxiety over terrorism.george bush's abuse of phone taping laws are another example of taking advantage of the peoples fear.and mean while people are lining up to give away freedoms that where hard fought for in the revolution and more recently ww 11.the government has the perfect excuse now to trample all over our rights.and thats by the use of one word terrorism.if we allow our government to take advantage of this situation where will it stop.if where not willing to step on a subway without being searched, then what price is freedom worth.if not your life then what?Benjamin FRANKLIN once said those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety".that statement was coming from a nation that was fighting a world power, not cowards hiding in caves.these men women and children died for freedom, yet we are unwilling to go about our normal business with out government interference.some how our civil liberties have become less important over the years.i feel the reason for the lapse is so many distractions tv, internet, cell phones, sports, movies, and people just wrapped up in there own lives things are just more complicated these days.up until the beginning of the 20th century people didn't have all those distractions they mainly concentrated on their work, farming,or profession.they could pay more attention to what the government was doing.we has a people need to get back to that before its to late.we can do this by petitioning their reps, protesting, and most powerful of all, voting.not just voting for the same old two parties but by going out side the two parties.thats how you inflict real change, just let them know we aren't going to let them take our rights or our government away from us.IN, THOMAS PAINE'S,COMMON SENSE he writes how our government should be structured,as municipalities grow they should be represented by their peers.it dosen't appear our peers know what we want.they seem to vote on issues that suit their own views or the views of the people who are lobbying them this kind of representation we dont need.
TO ANNOUNCE THAT THERE MUST BE NO CRITICISM OF THE PRESIDENT,OR THAT WE ARE TO STAND BY THE PRESIDENT,RIGHT OR WRONG ,IS NOT ONLY UNPATRIOTIC AND SERVILE BUT IS MORALLY TREASONABLE TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.

CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENT
"corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow." that was said by ABRAHAM LINCOLN IN 1864 if he were to come back to life today he would die from shock.these days corporations are so entwined in the government you cant tell the difference between the two.the pharmaceutical companies insurance, tobacco industries own our government it does as they want by throwing large sums of money at our representatives this is legal it is called lobbying.of course this should be outlawed.lobbying tramples all over our individual liberties.what chance do we have when corporations can throw huge sums of money at our government to have things go their way.where is our voice? why should the people we choose to represent us be allowed to be influenced by big money.does any politician have the balls to stand up and end this intrusion on our rights?no!because they have become to greedy and comfortable with this situation.besides when they are voted out they themselves wind up being lobbyist so there is no real insentive for anyone to end it.a recent example of this abuse is aig's ability to give bonus's using taxpayer money, the politicians involved in the language of the payouts conveniently left out the fact that the money shouldn't be used for bonus's. why? because aig employees made campaign contributions to their campaigns.thats a bought politician.
the time is now to stop all this abuse of our constitution and our freedom .we have to get back to our ideals and to the way our founders wanted our country to be.lets not let our country to get away from us.its now or never people

can a none religous person be president ? what about a,gulp atheist
so people are worried abot a mormon becoming president.that is funny to me.since supposely we have seperation of church and state.and we are at war with two countries telling them you cant have a religous government.why must our president be a christian.or from any denomenation for that matter.lets go over some of our christian presidents.george washington, exicuted one of his own men for mutney.im pretty sure a non believer can do that. lets skip to abe lincoln granted we can go on and on with the guys in between but i dont have that kind of time.now honest abe sent more americans to their deaths than any other president im pretty sure an atheist could do that. lets skip up to esinhower,he dropped an atomic bomb on japan of course we all know non religuos people most certinly can do that. jfk need i say more.reagan,.... please.how about good ol clinton yeah anyone could cheat on there wife.bush jr,a atheist could do everything hes ever done as a president.now these presidents have done many good things for this countrybut i dont think it really had anything to do with thier religous beliefs.i guess will never know weather or not an atheist would do any good things as president.an atheist as president god forbid
